With significant revisions including nearly 500 new components, the new generation Jaguar X-Type retains all the original car's strengths, and adds some new ones of its own.  The Jaguar X-Type gets a fresh look for 2008, along with a host of new features inside and outside the vehicle and a new automatic transmission in the acclaimed 2.2 diesel.

 The new-look front is more contemporary, giving every S-TYPE a more poised and dynamic appearance. For the 2008 Model Year, all S-TYPE versions feature an updated front end, with the addition of the sporting S-TYPE R bumper and mesh grille to all models. There is also a rational attraction as well, with the recent addition of the acclaimed twin-turbo 2.7-litre diesel engine which offers outstanding performance alongside superb fuel economy.

 The latest S-TYPE continues to be loved and admired by customers throughout the world, attracted on an emotional level by its spirit of individuality, iconic design and sporting performance.  Jaguar Cars is proud to unveil the new 2008 Model Year S-TYPE range, which comes with a host of exterior and interior design changes as well as a series of new standard and optional features.

Jaguar XK Convertible

A 300bhp, 4.2-litre V8 engine and Jaguar Sequential Shift steering-wheel-mounted gearchange controls ensure rapid performance of 0-60mph in just 6.0 seconds (0-100kmh in 6.3 seconds) and an electronically limited top speed of 155mph (250kmh. At just 1,635kg, the new Convertible - lighter than both its predecessor and rivals - is the lightest car in its competitive set. Designed in parallel with the Coupe as a model in its own right, the new XK Convertible uses the same advanced aluminium body structure technology to achieve excellent rigidity while minimizing weight.

  With the all-new XK Coupe now revealed to the world, Jaguar is pleased to announce another all-new XK - the XK Convertible.
